Trellis Wallpaper
Developed from a 17th century hand-embroidered textile panel from Bukhara, Uzbekistan, this design features a dense arrangement of stylised florals framed by traditional “running vine” borders. The rich palette of red, magenta, forest green, olive and blue sits against a natural linen ground, preserving the warmth and depth of the historic textile. Reinterpreted as a repeating surface, the original border has been integrated into the layout to create a subtle panelled structure across the wall. The pattern remains faithful to the scale and colouring of the original piece, retaining the character and decorative richness of the embroidered source.
