Suzani Mural
Developed from a 19th century hand-embroidered suzani textile from Uzbekistan, this statement mural features a bold geometric arrangement of red, green and orange floral medallions set against a warm cream background and framed by a striking zig-zag border. The original cloth, traditionally stitched from several narrow fabric panels, is faithfully preserved in the design, including the subtle colour variations, irregularities and gentle wear characteristic of a two-century-old handmade textile. Reproduced close to its historic scale, the mural will create a dramatic focal point behind a bed, console or dining table, or lend warmth and colour to hallways, staircases or transitional spaces. Its rich pattern and handcrafted character suit both traditional and eclectic interiors.
