Octagon Landscapes Wallpaper (Beetroot)
Developed from a hand-painted Dutch majolica tile panel dating from the late 17th to early 18th century, the design features detailed octagonal figurative landscape scenes framed by rosette corners and set against a softly speckled ground. The original palette of blue, white and manganese has been reinterpreted in a rich beetroot red - a historic tone popular with 18th century European porcelain manufactories such as Oude Loosdrecht and Meissen. The result is a playful yet historically grounded variation that introduces warmth and character to smaller or more intimate spaces, from powder rooms and dressing areas to bedrooms. Printed edge-to-edge across the roll, the tiled format also lends itself to creative architectural applications including panels, strips or columns.
