Developed from 17th century hand-painted Dutch majolica tiles featuringfloral rosettes surrounded by delicate petals, the design preserves the crisp blue decoration and soft off-white background characteristic of historic Delft tilework. The original hand-painted character has been carefully retained, while the removal of the tile grid allows the motif to flow seamlessly across the surface. When viewed from a distance, the repeating petals create a subtle kaleidoscopic effect, forming gentle circular rhythms that bring movement and lightness to the pattern.
