Inkline Wallpaper (Powder Blue)
Developed from an 18th century relief print originally created as decorative paper for bookbinding. The design features a lively arrangement of dots and flowing lines, carved and pressed onto handmade paper using traditional relief printing techniques. The simple, high-contrast ink on a soft white ground highlights the expressive quality of the original print. Subtle irregularities and the gentle feathering of pigment - characteristic of relief printing on handmade paper - have been carefully preserved. Printed on a textured, uncoated paper stock, the surface absorbs light softly to create a flat matte finish that enhances the handcrafted character of the design.
