Developed from an antique French sidewall border dating to circa 1770 reimagined into a classic continuous vertical stripe, the design features romantic motifs of blooming pink cottage roses and ribbon-tied bouquets framed by delicate, trailing floral bands. The character, irregularity and wear of the original antique have been retained and enhanced by the textured velvety fabric the design is printed on. The thick, deep pile chenille is hardwearing and durable - ideal for upholstery and soft furnishings that are subjected to heavy use.
