Diamond Landscapes Wallpaper
Developed from a hand-painted Dutch majolica tile panel dating from the late 17th to early 18th century, the design features charming blue and white landscape scenes set within speckled manganese diamond borders. The historic manganese purple, a soft, earthy tone characteristic of early Dutch tilework, softens the crisp blue and white palette, adding warmth and depth to the composition. The original colours, scale and layout have been preserved, with only larger surface blemishes restored. Remarkably modern in its geometric structure, the design works equally well in heritage interiors and contemporary settings. The repeat incorporates 49 individual tiles, creating a naturally varied effect even across large wall areas. The edge-to-edge tile, the tiled format also allows for creative architectural applications such as panels, strips or columns, while the 10 × 10 cm grid lends itself to precise placement across furniture, doors or smaller surfaces.
